i'm naive

Yes i am. i admit it. i want to believe in the goodness of people and the possibility of change. i want to have hope for the future, that my children and their generations to come would have a better life than i have. i believe the power and influence of one person, when he/she wants change bad enough, he/she would be able to achieve it. i believe one person already makes a difference, the world doesn't need many superheroes.

I believe in kindness and giving of oneself. selfishness doesn't amount to anything except for bringing pride into the heart. i believe that everyone has got it within themselves to change or be changed - it's a matter of choice. no one is greater than another person - it's a just a matter of perspectives. God created us equal, with own strengths and weakness so that we can complement each other.

Comparison doesn't alleviate the issue. we can look at the benchmark negatively or we can look on the bright side. either way, it asks us to decide on the next course of action. we can moan and groan, complain til the cows come home or we can choose to improve the situation.
