Love can change a man ... when it is the RIGHT girl ...

A friend recently ended his singlehood and committed himself into a relationship, which he said was likely going to be his first and last. i've known him for years and went through some ups and downs. in that sense, i do know him quite well. so it was pretty amusing to me when i noticed the little changes in him ever since he started pursuing his love interest.

He's become more well dressed and has better colour coordination. he 's also sporting a new hairstyle and his specs these days are usually hip and happening. the most remarkable change is his character. he's toned down from his days of sarcasm, rudeness and sometimes un-tactfulness. he's more careful of his words, a bit more sensitive and knows what and when to say something. he's also become somewhat a romantic; buying flowers and gifts for his girl --> this is someone i know who has always been v prudent with his spending. not only that, he's able to express his emotions rather well and admitting to almost everyone that he's in love! -- not an easy feat for a Chinese man (at least in my books) ..

All these changes in the span of six months or so ... amazing!

I'm really happy for him. here is an example of someone who have become a better person simply because of love. yes it wasn't easy for him in the last few months of pursue but his award was well worth the wait ... and as a result of the process, it brought the best out of him ;)
