Keep moving forward

The intention to watch Teenaga Mutant Ninja Turtles was scrapped when the showtimes were not convenient. my friend and i ended up watching Mr. Robinsons. now after having seen so many animations that flooded the local cinema, i didn't have too high expectations for them because most of the time, they ended being slightly childish and too simplistic. well they are for kids!

Perhaps it's the low expectations that i was pleasantly surprised today. well, Mr Robinsons didn't have any of the witty and catchy lines like in The Incredibles. but the plot was solid. while it had time machines (which presently is unachievable), the element of life behind was quite real. the boy who just wanted to be accepted and loved. the other boy who wanted to make things right again after a boo-boo. the supportive family. the value of failures - u learn more when u fail; less when u succeed ... and yes, KEEP MOVING FORWARD.

Apparently that was also Walt Disney's motto for the company - not to sit on their laurels but to keep on becoming better. doesn't matter if you've done exceptionally well or that you failed, doesn't matter if it hurt, doesn't matter if your ego was scratched, the past won't change, just keep moving forward. i thought it was quite well said :o) i'm a sucker when it comes to motivational quotes like this :D

Perhaps amid my daily worries and concern, all i can do is to move forward and do the things that i can do and within my control. too many times i allow myself to be pressured by events and outcomes that were beyond me. i ended up being upset and de-motivated. instead, i should just KEEP MOVING FORWARD...
