Two years. that's how long i'll be studying. on a part-time basis. i got my books for the first semester. they are darn heavy. i wondered to myself, geez, it's been a long time since i have text books! not that i really minded cos' i actually enjoy reading such books :)
We had an induction session on Tuesday. i didn't manage to attend the dinner cos' i was working. by the time i arrived, everyone has already gotten acquainted. i felt a bit out of place and shy. gawd, i haven't been so nervous about meeting people; and i meet new people every day! i guess i'm just nervous on whether i'd be able to work with my 31 classmates over the next 24 months. it'll be tough if there's no kindred spirits around ... but they did seem nice and perhaps my fears were un-warranted. Well, i'll find out soon enough. this weekend will be a long one. i have a 2 1/2 days workshop to attend. i wonder if i'd get the hang of studying, assignments and exams but it's also an exciting feeling. i feel like being brought into a whole new world again. the anticipation, the un-expected, the un-known thrills me. i'm so glad i decided to just take the plunge :)
