The first month of 2008 passed by like a breeze. a few interesting bits happened to me and those around me. for starters, i realised that sometimes i see things the way they are because i wanted them to look tat way. found this out the hard way and i knocked myself several times on the head of not having a clearer vision and for not checking my perceptives -- doink!

Six degree of separation is true to some extend. thks to FB, i found out that my circle of friends is linked in more ways than one :P Also, via FB i got some updates of people that i haven't caught up for years. for example, this couple i know in uni days are actually married now.. did i mention that time flies?!

I've just been offered a job with a pay that doubles my current salary. the package is very attractive indeed and i'm grateful that someone actually appreciates the value that i can bring into an organisation. after working in a co that hardly shows appreciation, it's refreshing to finally have some sense of acknowledgement. whether i take the offer or not, is another issue :O)

On the other hand, a good friend is considering divorce cos' she's been under tremendous stress and couldn't cope with her husband. i seriously hope whatever thought that she might have would never materialise. for now, i assume that it's one of those spur of the moment kind-of-thing ...
