Day 1
I decided to volunteer and cover election activities. i reckon that i probably not have a chance like this again --> who knows where i'll be in another five years?

I'm glad i took the decision to do so because it's an eye-opening experience for me. i was sleepless last night because i was anxious if i could do the job. since i have very little exposure to hard-core news reporting, i do not know if i could meet the expectations. it turned out that reporting, whether general or business, is pretty much the same concept. get the contacts, bug them and go to the ground.

Today's nomination, i witnessed for myself the scene of politics - chanting of slogans, mass supporters, ejek-mengejek (teasing) and lots of shouting. this is amidst the hot morning sun in an open field and hours of waiting. the energy these people shown reminded me of school days when we're competing for different positions. of course this is for a higher cause (or some would like to think...)

It was tiring; the waiting and waiting but i managed to survive...
