Same date, different scenes

Yesterday was Nov 29. i still remember last year's Nov 29. i was at a bye-bye party for a good friend who was going back to Finland after the end of his exchange programme. i left the party feeling a bit different.

I didn't expect this year's Nov 29 would carry a different individual than last year's. same date, different scene. not too sure what to expect for next year's Nov 29 ... perhaps it would be a different scene altogether again ...

I've watched two European films over the last 5 days and they were better than i expected. The first one was a Dutch movie about a cat turning into human and helping a shy journalist finding news. The second movie was French called The Spanish Apt and it was also good. brought back some memories cos the story depicted exactly how i felt when i was in a foreign land and how i felt upon coming home ... made me ponder on a few things.
