The performance featured mostly traditional Malay dances, with inclusion of one Chinese and Indian dances. The colourful costumes made good photo images, and it was an eye opener for my friends. However, the performance could have been better with a structured flow of dances, instead of random selection. there wasn't any continuity from one dance to the other. additionally the stage props were almost nil.
On Sunday, i attended my first ever Indian wedding. i was excited because i was looking forward to understanding my other countrymen. Unfortunately, the wedding wasn't what i expected. the ceremony was done without any coordination and most non-Indian guests like me were left with puzzling thoughts as to what was going on. to look on the bright side, at least i got to catch up a bit with some friends.
