What a delightful surprise to receive an email from a good friend that warms the heart at the beginning of the week! I smiled as i read the content, bringing back many fond memories of Paolo and how we had spent many evenings sharing and talking.
Funny thing was, i was just telling a friend about Paolo and his risotto recipe last night! I guess without knowingly, we have crossed each other's minds :-)
Btw, Paolo was the quoter of the phrase which i put up on this blog. He helped me understand the beauty of being different and how simplicity is best (even in IT). he reminded me that people around the world share similar humanity values and we are as different as we are similar. As much as i laughed at Paolo's organised and precised Swiss self, i enjoyed his detailness and his ability to put things into perspective. i believe that he'll reach greater heights no matter what he plans to embark on.
