Those who know me probably know that i'm not an animal person. i've nothing against them but i just don't fancy them especially as pets. i only had one pet once and that was rather a reluctant pet owner. some friends gave me a tortoise as Chinese New Year gift when i was 18. I didn't know what to do with it so i left it at my neighbour's place, who happened to have a pond. i thought it suited the tortoise since it will have a place to swim and rest. it stayed there for several years and went missing one day when it climbed out of the pond. that's the end to my pet-keeping ...

Well if ever i have another pet again, i think i'd choose a dalmation dog. My first encounter with one was earlier this month when i met April. she belonged to a caretaker in Cameron Highlands, which home i stayed for the Labour Day weekend with my fellow care group members.

She's adorable. she's fast, quick and intelligent. i like to stroke her and give her food cos i enjoy watching her wagging her tail and jumping to take the food. she's a warm fella. everyone liked her company.
