I finally bought a digital camera after waiting for two years. true to my nature, procrastination ruled during the time. i always managed to find an excuse for not buying but yesterday, i decided that i do not want to keep borrowing cameras from kind friends. it's time to invest in one myself.
I decided on buying the Powershot model as it was the cheaper range compared to the Ixus and it has a lot of functions that i could play with. so ok, m no professional photographer but it's always a good excuse to try.
The first batch of pictures that i took was of CG members. it was David's birthday yesterday and since he was still suffering from a slipped disc and alice was likely to deliver her baby soon, we thought it would be best if we celebrate it at their place and bring dinner there. it was quite an impromptu affair but it ended as a pleasant dinner and evening. the pictures turned out quite alright too considering the fact that we were in our house clothes :-)
Well i guess here's to a series of beautiful moments to be captured in my camera. just in time for my South Africa trip too! yay!
