The above feedback was from a friend after he read my most recent blog. i laughed.. hard.. Honestly i haven't realised the opportunity of finding a rich husband. i doubt that i ever would ;o) besides, how rich is rich anyway? and how secure is that?
If happiness is on the basis of wealth and material accumulation, then perhaps there'll be less divorces these days. afterall, the standard of living has improved over the years. people earn more these days, have better chances of surviving rather comfortably, so shouldn't they be more happy?
I'm a sucker for perfection. if i knew things could be better, i wouldn't want otherwise. Maybe it is this persistency that causes me to be disappointed sometimes.
What a good reminder:
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones that you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the tradewinds in you.” (Mark Twain)
