Ignorance is bliss

Ignorance is bliss. how true tis is. actually if one just turned a blind eye to everything around, he/she would most probably ignored his/her own weaknesses. hey, don't take responsibility, just blame everyone else! that's so easy. the Chinese calls it "tai chi"; which indirectly means to push away.

It just feels real shitty to be discredited. it's one thing not to receive compliments or "thank you" for the efforts. i get a salary at the end of the month, i don't need to be recognised for the hours i put in; afterall, it's part of the job. it's ok to be told that the articles do not make a difference, or changed lives ... but it's another to be told that the work was "shallow" and lack "quality". it's like being told, "your stories are rubbish."

Perhaps i should too, practise the same motto: Ignorance is bliss. don't take the comments personally. don't even bother if it meant unrecognised work. just keep on writing. for the sake of myself and my interest. do i get lesser pay because my work was worthless? not really. do i get more money if my work was recognised? not really (at least not here ...)
