A friend shared an interesting analogy over the weekend. He said the level of shallowness of people is likened to swimming pools. There are Olympic size, kiddies pool, public pool and the pools you find in the homes of the rich and famous.
Obviously those who belong to the kiddies pool have rather shallow thinking cos' as we know it, kid's pool is safe as the level of water is not high at all. Then there are those who are like Olympic pool. As you swim further, it gets deeper. The same with the person. The longer you know him/her, you would discover more depth.
The pool of the rich & famous is nice to look at; looks deep but when you actually jump in, you'd find it's like any other pools. Looks good on the outside, nothing much on the inside. Then there is the public pool. Every one jumps in because it's open to public. There's so much sharing that it ended up being not-so-clean and has to be cleaned on a regular basis. It usually has higher level of chlorine because of the amount of cleaning being done. Let's guess what kind of thinking the person might be ...
So which pool do you belong to?
