Finance geek

Some might call me weird but i really like writing financial news. i like browsing through the stock exchange website and check out the companies' latest announcements, or browsing the Internet while reading financial news on CNN, or Fortune website. i enjoy watching how the stock market move and i get excited about news that influence the market. my favourite books are about the global economy as well as successful entrepreneurs and charismatic corporate leaders - i got hooked when i read about Walt Disney and how he built the world's largest animation land. nowadays when i go to the bookshop, the first section i go to is business and management.

Yes while i know all this will not change the world or have any significant impact whatsoever in somebody' else life, i couldn't help being fascinated. i want to know how decisions are made in the boardroom, how a deal is sealed and what consequences and results from those decisions.

You might think that i'm a money-minded person and that is why i am interested in such issue but the truth to be told, i don't think i am. while i want to lead a comfortable life, i would not give up my passion and interest for the sake of money. i don't plan to buy my bungalow tomorrow, or even 10 years down the road. to me, a roof over my head is already a good enough blessing :)
