I learned today that having resources made a lot of difference and if you're on the lacking side, you lose a lot too. it's easier when you're on the same side with the group holding the authority because then, most of your requests would get approved faster and easier.

Being on the opposition, however, means the opposite. While the person could be elected, he's not on the same ground as the ruling side hence things become more complicated in between. at the end of the day, he would be accused of not able to fulfill his promises and therefore should not be given the vote of confidence. what happens in between is never told and perhaps, not many questioned.

What irony isn't it for people on the street like me? who should i trust then? the person who is on favaourble grounds to make things happen (depending on what he wants to make happen, not the consensus want) or the person who is most likely couldn't get things done because his hands are tied unwillingly but is more willing to persist on the overall good ...
